I haven't really felt that the sculpt has been fulfilling the character that I have ceded to him, so I decided drastic measures were to be called in for.
Today I: -sanded down his face to be thinner so as to be more proportional to the torso that I made the other day. -and closed his eye. That's right, only one eye. haah. I wanted more of a dreamy, romantic, contemplative look to him, so I closed one of his eyes. It is not yet set in stone (ie, baked/boiled to harden, haha), but I think that I will leave the one eye overnight. Anyone have a preference? I will be posting a pic of his closed vs. open eye. I'm currently leaning towards the closed eyes, but I will refrain from boiling the changes until tomorrow night after school/work. |
